Mindset Group supported the Association of Corporate Counsel by facilitating retreats for their Foundation Board, Executive Team, and Board of Advisors. They designed, developed, and executed these retreats from start to finish, managing the project plan, facilitating the sessions, and delivering after-action reports. The result was a shared strategy with collective buy-in, increased support for strategic efforts, and established accountability for follow-through.

For the Association of Community College Trustees, Mindset Group led an organizational culture change aimed at increasing accountability and collaboration. They implemented a comprehensive plan that engaged all staff, from the CEO to junior members, while coaching leaders to take greater accountability and improve their managerial skills. As a result, the CEO referred to them as a “trusted advisor,” and employee empowerment led to improved retention rates.

At Citi Ventures, Mindset Group facilitated an executive retreat to transform a new team into a cohesive unit with clear communication and trust. They coached executives prior to the retreat, co-created the agenda, and encouraged honest communication during the event. This led to the team being called “the most productive yet” by the executive sponsor, agreement on strategic priorities, and the implementation of accountability structures for follow-through.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Mindset Group coached the HR SVP of MGM National Harbor on crisis communication and urgent change management. They provided a safe space for the SVP to develop as a leader, prioritizing her well-being so she could effectively lead her team. The coaching helped her execute a change management plan that included layoffs and reorganization, leveraging the strategies discussed in their sessions.

For the United States Coast Guard, Mindset Group facilitated an executive retreat to address team tension and miscommunication. They conducted individual coaching sessions with each participant, developed the retreat agenda, and ensured the process was inclusive. As a result, leaders created new roles, increased communication and accountability, and committed to the co-created structure.

Mindset Group supported Lee Mt. Vernon Sports Club by coaching the management team over six months, focusing on effective leadership. Through one-on-one coaching and team meetings, the managers transitioned from thinking like junior staff to confidently embracing their management roles. This allowed the Executive Director to stop micromanaging and focus on more strategic initiatives.

For the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative under the US State Department, Mindset Group developed and facilitated leadership trainings for middle managers, equipping them with tools to set their teams up for success. The participants gained practical leadership skills, and Mindset Group became a repeat guest speaker for the State Department to train and coach leaders.
